The hotel we are staying in are outside of D.C.. It is at a great location: the old town of Alexandria. There is a subway station just 37 steps from the hotel. And only 10 stops to the heart of D.C.. I like the subway in D.C.. It's very clean.
I don't know what I expect the Newseum to be. I guess I thought it is only about news. But I didn't realize that news is connected with history. News is reporting and documenting history, even if it is a current news because we all live in the past in a way. The total of 7 floors of Newseum, 3 floors are about the history of news, newspapers, TV shows, news reporting, etc. But other 4 floors are about the real news: JFK, WWI, WWII, 911 and the miserable histories of the world. I was in a heavy mood when the museum closed. But I did enjoy it and learned some things. If we have time tomorrow, I would go back to watch couple short films.
Even I have see Capital Hill before, but it was still great to see it again. It is a beautiful building to see. Few other groups were there taking pictures, and Mr.Rabbit and I took a nice picture as well.
