Heard this coming week will be so cold, I had to wear my new skirt today before it is too cold to wear it! I actually like this outfit, just wishing my hair could be longer.

I couldn't sleep last night, and like always I started to imagining things which normally help me fall in sleep. I tried to picture how my further house would be like. A grand stairs to second floor in the middle of the house, one side of the floor is the master bedroom and a guest bedroom which my parents will be using. Another side of the floor is the kids' room. Two kids? Yes, two kids. And from there, my thought jumped to how the closet would be like. A huge walk in closet, divided in the middle, one side is mine, another side is Mr.Rabbit's. Full body length of mirrors all over there, a makeup table in the middle, all my clothes are in one place.....and I fall in sleep.
This morning, I wondered why I thought about the closet? Was that because I don't have my own real closet now? Mr.Rabbit has a lot of clothes, and the only two wall closets are full of his things before I moved in. When I moved in, we had to buy a plastic one for me. But unlike me, the reason that Mr.Rabbit has a lot of clothes is that he keeps everything from years and years. The reason that I have a lot of clothes is my impulse shipping habit. Do you have that moment that you just need to buy something? Yeah, that moment happens often for me. I always enjoy fashion and always want to try new things. If you see any new fashion style or trend, I'd like to jump to it no matter if that style or trend fits me. After wasting so much money and some "who am I" searching, I finally decided on couple styles to keep"feminine, classic and causal sexy." And age range of fashion? Say goodbye to 20 and say hello to 25! I know I am much older than 25, but I feel I still can pull off the 25 years old style. And, I found a good advice to control my impulse shopping habit which I read on February's People style watch. The author of THE WEEKEND MAKEOVER, Jill Martin wrote:" Most people only wear 25% of what they own. To make your closet look uniform and neat, you have to pare down. You should always feel like a '10', so only keep '10s‘ in your closet!" That is so true! I probably do only 25% of what I own, do to my work (well, I had to wear only black and white, no shorts or dress or skirt at my last job, and I have to wear whatever we sell at this job). And yes, I should always feel like 10! or at least 8! I am gonna keep that in mind, so when I go impulse shopping, I can keep asking myself "is it a 10?" March is 2 months away. That's when I normally do my outfit flip. This time, I have to say goodbye to everything below 8 and everything is not me! Just about a month ago, I was still so proud of myself to be able to shop at Forever 21. I have been shopping there since I was 22, and feel pretty good about myself for being 33 and still can pull off clothes from there. I do have the moments that think Forever 21 is too young for me. Especially when I saw 13 years old in the fitting room next to mine. But I still didn't give up going there 'cause my philosophy of fashion is: No age limit, no price limit; which means you never too old to wear anything and nothing is too cheap or too expensive for fashion.
But after visit Victoria's Secret last week, I am not sure anymore. I haven't buy anything from V.S for few years, and decided to go there to find a bra which has a nice back for my chiffon shirt. Lucky, V.S was having their semi sales. I found few bras of my size 32 B and headed to the dressing room. The girl in charge of dressing room asked me if I need to be measured. I wasn't expecting any changes 'cause I have been 32 B since 2002, but I thought why not. So, she gave me the measurement and asked:" What size you have in there?" "32B." I answered. "Oh, No. You are a 32 C." She said. "Oh...really?" I didn't think my cup size has changed. "Try this sample bra. It is 32 C." The girl gave me a black basic bra. I put it on, and asked her to check for me 'cause I didn't believe that I am not a 32 B but a 32 C. "Oh! Look at your side. It didn't all get covered. You need a 32 D." She said. "WHAT?" I was surprised but also feel kind of happy. Hey, after all, bigger is better, right? After I went home with few new 32 D bras, I put out all my bras from home and tried them all on. Why I didn't see this? None of my old bras fit me. The side of my girls were coming out and I thought it was because my bras were getting old. How come my girls get bigger? Am I getting fatter? Or my girls are losing the fight with gravity? Does that mean I am losing my muscle tones? AM I GETTING OLD!!!!??? Eew...the thing woman does to drive ourselves crazy. I looked at myself in the mirror: yeah...older than I'd like to be. And,I know my old style isn't good for me anymore (Say goodbye long ago to "hip-hop"). My body is changing too. I can't wear whatever I want anymore, but I don't want to wear grandma panties and mom jeans. Just the thought of grandma panties made me took out all my panties and throw out the "grandmalish" ones. I have to say that after I was 30 years old. I started to want dress more comfortable than fashionable. I let myself go a little bit. But I can't keep doing that anymore. It's time to keep upgrading myself. It's time to change my fashion habit. Maybe I will buy less from Forever 21 from now on (doesn't mean I will go there less). Maybe I need to find my new favored store (No Banana or J.Crew). But I do know that I have been searching for my own style for a while, and I have been trying different styles for few years. Now, I think I know what my style is. What style make me happy and feel beautiful: Feminine, Classic, Girl next door, Simple Sexy. It's a process to change your fashion style, to find yourself, to know who you are and to not be influence by others (fashion pros, trend, much younger friends, your inner child, etc). But it can also be fun to re-discover yourself. As you can see, I love fashion. Otherwise, I won't spend almost a hour to write this at 2 o'clock in the morning. I always try to improve myself in all the aspect of my life. Fashion is surely on the top of my list! The first photo of 2014! My cozy grandma sweater which I got on the street of NYC for $10. Love it.
