After I was 30 years old, I still try not wear makeup often. The reasons: 1. lazy, 2. still don't feel I need it sometimes, 3, I don't feel how I look outside is that important.
But now, I am going to be 34 years old soon. It has been almost 10 years since the first I started to wear makeup. I now feel I do need some makeup to look not better but as good as when I was younger. My skin started to have red spots, uneven tones, pores are larger, some wrinkles around my eyes when I laugh, etc. But, I still don't really think I need full makeup everyday (you know, the whole 9 yards). So I decided to just use foundation first. I have some makeups at home, most of them are older than 5 years since I don't use them often. I had to clean out some of them even through they were almost non used.
I bought a new foundation last week. It is YSL foundation, Beige #50. The yellow tone. It looked great when I tried on in store, but worried the #50 is too yellow even through it blended in on my face very nice. Asian normally want our face looks brighter/whiter. I tried on Beige dove #40 which looks brighter than the #50. Then, I thought about what I want out of wearing foundation. Looks good or looks naturally good. So, #50 it is.
It is a nice foundation. Very light and soft. I like how nature it looks!
