The long square one was popular at 2004. That's when I had my first pair (and I still have that pair). I got another 4 different pairs since then, and all are long square shape with a small difference between each other.
A month ago, I went to glasses store and tried to get some contacts. That was when I saw this around pair glasses, and something told me that I would like it. So I tried it on. Never thought it will looks good on me, but it did at that moment. I was so exciting and decided to get a pair. (I think my face shape is hard to find a good pair of glasses to match, plus most glasses in US doesn't have nose bridge support high enough for Asian's low nose bridge.)
After a month waiting, I finally got my new glasses last week. And, I am still trying to get use to it. It's strange feeling. I like it, but not sure if it fits me. Others seem to be like it on me. I guess I just need more time to get use to it.
Because I got the super nice lenses for this pair ( anti glare, resists scratches, repels dust, repels water, resists smudges, and change color by the light), I actually wear eyeglasses more than my contacts.
I still need time to get use to it....It didn't become part of me yet.
